Black Dog Ballroom sponsors the Coronation Street float at Manchester Pride

Bank holiday weekend was a huge celebration for Manchester Pride as it celebrated its 21st anniversary and we were right in the middle of the action as sponsors, along with Velvet, of the Coronation Street float which led the parade through the city centre.
It was touch and go for a while as we waited on Liverpool Street for the parade to begin and hid from the (typical Manchester) torrential downpour, but as if by magic when the parade began the sun came out and there was a brilliant party atmosphere.
Tom from the events and marketing team was on the float with the cast including Mikey North (Gary Windass), Will Thorp (Chris Gray), Samia Smith (Maria Connor), Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster), Antony Cotton (Sean Tully) and Debbie Rush (Anna Windass).
