Bruce the black dog at the Patterdale Show

Woof woof – after a week in boot camp in the Lake District with my Grandma I was entered into the Patterdale Show.
Being a Patterdale Terrier the Ulswater town of Patterdale is my spiritual home so I was very excited woof woof!!
It was weird at first as there were lots of other dogs that looked just like me – I was freaked out! My friends Abe and Rocco came with me so we soon settled in and had some fun. It was barking mad when it was my turn to parade around the ring being assessed by lots of strange men dressed in Tweed!! They have some dress code in those parts!
The other dogs in the show were all very serious and their owners were very serious too. The owners were tickling their dogs balls to make them stand up straight and look all prim and propper for the judges – I just lay down and chilled out and enjoyed the show!
I didn’t win but I was told I did very well and got a big bone when I got home.
Woof woof!!
